A Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Cultura apresentou em audiência púbica, realizada na última quinta-feira (16) os relatórios de monitoramento e avaliação do Plano Municipal de Educação (PME) relativo aos anos de 2022 e 2023.
O PME objetiva proporcionar educação com qualidade e responsabilidade social, diminuindo as desigualdades sociais e culturais, erradicar o analfabetismo e ampliar o nível de escolaridade da população.
O plano foi instituído em 2014 para 10anos. Foram apresentadas as metas alcançadas e as que não foram 100% alcançadas com suas justificativas. A audiência acontece a cada dois anos para que a população tenha conhecimento da educação do município.
