Fomentar a cultura e apoiar um evento tradicional, que faz parte da história da cidade. Com este lema o governador Eduardo Riedel participou da 55ª da Festa do Peão Boiadeiro de Aparecida do Taboado, conhecida como “Taboadão”.

O Governo do Estado contribuiu com a realização da festa, com repasse de recursos R$ 416 mil) para estrutura (banheiros, som, iluminação, geradores e palco) e atrações musicais, novamente contribuindo com os grandes eventos que fazem a alegria das pessoas.

“Estou muito feliz em participar desta grande festa, que é uma das mais tradicionais e populares do Estado. Fazemos nossa parte apoiando as festividades e a cultura regional em todos os municípios”, afirmou o governador.

Riedel destacou que estes grandes eventos ajudam a economia local e são importantes para população. “Vamos continuar ajudando para que seja entregue o melhor. O Taboadão é um sucesso de público e organização”.

A Festa do Peão Boiadeiro deve reunir 8 mil pessoas durante os quatro dias de evento. Ela começou na quinta-feira (25) e segue até domingo (28), com atrações nacionais, entre eles Guilherme e Benuto, a dupla João Bosco e Vinícius, além de Hugo e Guilherme.

A população ainda terá a sua disposição uma variedade de atividades, como competições de rodeio, feira de artesanato, comidas típicas e atrações culturais. A cultura sertaneja estará em destaque, mostrando sua essência e tradição.

O prefeito de Aparecida do Taboado, José Natan, agradeceu pela parceria com o Governo do Estado. “Gratidão por esta parceria de sempre. O governador veio prestigiar nossa festa, que tem apoio do Estado”.

Asfalto e revitalização

O governador aproveitou a agenda em Aparecida do Taboado para vistoriar obras de infraestrutura urbana importantes que foram entregues na cidade. O foco é avaliar os trabalhos que foram conduzidos pelo Estado para população.

Riedel esteve nos bairros São Jerônimo, Vila Rodrigues e Vila Glória, onde os moradores foram beneficiados com a restauração de vias públicas no valor de R$ 6,2 milhões.

As intervenções ocorreram nas ruas Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Sargento Ferreira, São Jerônimo, Três Lagoas, Filogônio Ferreira Filó, Aracajú, Said Mattar, Artur Rodrigues Falcão, Guilhermino Falcão, Presidente Médici, Guanabara, Josefa Maria da Conceição, Fernando de Noronha, Jaciara, Jurema e Jacira.

Também vistoriou a obra de pavimentação que foi concluída no bairro Jardim Redentora, que teve investimento de R$ 3,3 milhões. Esta obra era aguardada pelos moradores há mais de 30 anos.
