Campinas, SP, 14 – Após encerrar a sua terceira passagem pelo Santos de forma amigável com um acordo de rescisão contratual, a atacante Cristiane desembarcou no Rio de Janeiro neste domingo e foi anunciada como reforço do Flamengo para a temporada 2024. O anúncio foi feito nas redes sociais com uma brincadeira com Gabigol, ídolo do time masculino, que havia comemorado a chegada da ex-santista ao clube rubro-negro.
“O projeto do Flamengo no futebol feminino foi primordial para a escolha, assim como as atletas que estão compondo o grupo. Já joguei com algumas e outras vou ter o prazer de jogar agora, como a Glaucia, que sempre disse que queria atuar comigo. A torcida, então, nem se fala. Além disso, ter uma rede de apoio para minha família. Eu tenho muitas amigas que moram no Rio e vou ter um suporte com a minha esposa e com o nosso filho para que eles se sintam em casa. Foi uma decisão em conjunto e estou feliz”, disse a atacante.

CARREIRA DE CRISTIANE
Natural de Osasco, Cristiane tem um extenso currículo. Começou a carreira no Juventus-SP e foi a primeira brasileira a se transferir para o Campeonato Alemão, quando, em 2006, assinou pelo Turbine Potsdam. Posteriormente, teve passagens por clubes como PSG e Chicago Red Stars-EUA. No Brasil, além do Santos, também passou por Corinthians, São José-RS e São Paulo.
Pelo Santos, Cristiane viveu sua primeira experiência em 2009, ano em que atuou ao lado de Marta e foi campeã da Libertadores, com uma goleada por 9 a 0 sobre o Universidad Autónoma, do Paraguai, na final, e da Copa do Brasil, marcando gol na decisão. Chegou a ir para o Chicago Red Stars, em seguida, mas voltou à Vila Belmiro já em 2010, com um contrato curto. O tempo foi o suficiente para conquistar outra libertadores.
O terceiro capítulo da relação com o Santos começou em 2020, após uma breve passagem pelo rival São Paulo. Desta vez, a atacante não conseguiu conquistas como no passado, mas teve bons números, especialmente em 2022, quando fez 32 gols e anotou seis assistências em 30 jogos. Na temporada de 2023, teve 13 gols e três assistências em 26 jogos.
Figura histórica da seleção brasileira, Cristiane ficou mais de dois anos sem ser convocada, enquanto o Brasil era treinado pela sueca Pia Sundhage. Com a chegada do técnico Arthur Elias, multicampeão com o Corinthians, ela voltou a aparecer em uma convocação em setembro.
Pela seleção, a craque disputou cinco Copas do Mundo, quatro Olimpíadas (tem duas medalhas de prata) e três Jogos Pan-Americanos (se sagrou campeã em todas as edições). Ela venceu também quatro vezes a Copa América.
